About Us - Triteens

Oftentimes publications and reporting related to teenagers contains very little input from teenagers themselves. Noticing this Raeed Karim decided to create Triteens when he was in his Junior year of high school. The goal of this website is to create trustworthy information about teenagers but from the perspective of a teenager. This website seeks to be a platform that connects teenagers with resources to help them, entertain them, and inform them.

Our mission is simple: Give the future generation a voice in the media and promote media they can truly relate to. - Raeed Karim (Owner and Editor)

Investigations and Editorial Process

Triteens conducts many investigations into different topics of interest to teenagers. These topics cover many things including mental health and misinformation among other things. We are strict about the information we provide and receive and these are our general rules:

• If you claim it, prove it using a reliable source
• Reliable sources can be articles and studies from known sources
• Always explain everything fully to the expectations of your readers based on the subject matter
• Always produce your best work and take feedback
• Seek to improve and make mistakes sometimes
• Take accountability for issues present
• Update outdated information with new reliable sources
• Articles producing an opinion should not be presented as fact
• If you make an argument you should explain it fully and show your thinking
• We will not condone paid articles and violations will be removed promptly
• Remain independent in your writing, and try to avoid conflicts of interest
• If you don't know something, research it!
• You must follow the SPJ Code of Ethics
